Julianne Hough is an American professional ballroom dancer, country music singer and actress. She is most widely known for being a two-time winner of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

She earned a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nomination in 2007 for choreography. ABC’s 20/20 called her one of the “very best dancers on the planet.” Hough’s brother, Derek, is also on Dancing with the Stars and is a three-time winner himself. Hough was signed to Mercury Nashville Records in December 2007. Her self-titled debut album was released May 20, 2008, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Country Album chart and #3 on the Billboard 200. Claire Foy is a British actress, best-known for playing the title role in the BBC1 production of Little Dorrit.

Gabor, 93, was hospitalized Friday for a suspected blood clot that turned out to be an infection. She has been in and out of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles since she fell and broke her hip in July, and was so sick in August that she asked to have the last rites read.

Her husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, told Reuters that two nurses were overseeing her home care.

Gabor made appearances on radio and television shows in the 1950s and 1960s. She also appeared in movies such as “Moulin Rouge,” “Lili” and “Touch of Evil.”

She was celebrated for her bubbly personality and beauty and has had a string of wealthy husbands. Gabor had a penchant for calling everyone “dah-ling” in her thick Hungarian accent and with her sisters, Eva and Magda, was a fixture on Hollywood’s social circuit.

On Friday, her spokesman, John Blanchette, said she complained of pain and swelling in her leg in the morning. A doctor was called to her home and determined she had a blood clot that could move to her heart.

“He was afraid she was in jeopardy of heart attack,” Blanchette said.

It’s no Mickey Mouse thing. Christina Aguilera has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

With some 1,000 fans jamming a Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk to watch, Aguilera gushed with delight Monday as the star was unveiled in front of the Hard Rock Cafe.

“Oh my goodness! How amazing it is to see all of your fabulous faces. This is a huge staple in my life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart,” said the 29-year-old pop diva, who was dressed in a white halter dress and leopard Loubatin heels.

Aguilera was just a child when she broke into show business nearly 20 years ago as a member of “The New Mickey Mouse Club,” a show that also counted Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake as cast members.

On Monday, the singer-actress thanked her mother, Shelly Kearns, “for getting me around to all these auditions.”

“My family has been very supportive,” she said.

Aguilera won her first Grammy for best new artist in 1999. She has collected three more in the years since, including awards for best pop vocal in 2003, for “Beautiful,” and in 2006 for “Ain’t No Other Man.”

Her star, the 2,432nd on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, was unveiled nine days before Aguilera’s first film, “Burlesque,” is to reach theaters. Aguilera, who stars opposite Cher, plays a small-town girl raised in foster homes who chases her dreams to a Los Angeles burlesque club.

“Dream big, everybody!” she told her fans Monday.

A Manhattan judge dismissed Diandra Douglas’ lawsuit against the Academy Award-winning actor in a ruling made public Monday. The judge said the dispute doesn’t belong in a New York court because the former couple’s complex, multimillion-dollar divorce agreement was hashed out in Santa Barbara, Calif.

“After balancing all competing interests and factors, the California court is the more convenient forum for this matter to be tried,” state Supreme Court Justice Matthew F. Cooper wrote.

Michael Douglas was “very happy” with the New York lawsuit ruling, his lawyer, Marilyn B. Chinitz, said Monday. While it stuck to the question of where the case belongs, not who should win, Chinitz said she was confident the actor would prevail if his ex pursues it further. The couple divorced in 2000 after 23 years together.

Diandra Douglas’ lawyer said she plans to appeal. Both Douglases have homes in New York, and “the case should be decided here,” said the lawyer, Nancy Chemtob.

Diandra Douglas’ camp has said she should get half the actor’s earnings from this year’s “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” because their divorce deal gives her a share of proceeds from projects related to work he did when they were married, such as the original “Wall Street.”

“Mr. Douglas is seeking to shirk his financial responsibility that was entered into when he signed this contract,” Chemtob said at an August hearing.

The first “Wall Street” film, which was directed by Oliver Stone and co-starred Charlie Sheen and Daryl Hannah, was released in 1987. Michael Douglas reprised his Oscar-winning role as no-holds-barred financier Gordon Gekko, who famously declared “greed is good,” in “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” The sequel, released in September, has grossed more than $100 million worldwide.

Michael Douglas’ lawyer said that the actor’s ex was misinterpreting the divorce agreement and that it didn’t apply to the “Wall Street” sequel, which wasn’t on the horizon when the two split.

“When does it stop? … She’s not Mrs. Michael Douglas” anymore, Chinitz said at the August hearing.

Indeed, the current Mrs. Michael Douglas is Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, whose movies include “The Mask of Zorro” and “Chicago.” She and Douglas appeared in “Traffic.”

Michael and Diandra Douglas’ divorce pact specified that future money disputes would be resolved in California — and that’s where courts are best equipped to handle it, the judge wrote in his decision, first reported by the New York Post.

“The ultimate determination of much of the case may very well involve the interpretation and application of the term ‘spin-offs’ — a term of art most closely associated with Hollywood’s film and television industry,” he noted.

The former couple’s marriage was put under an uncomfortable spotlight earlier this year, when son Cameron Douglas faced sentencing after pleading guilty to a federal drug charge for dealing methamphetamine from a trendy Manhattan hotel. In a letter to his son’s judge, Michael Douglas described the union as a “bad marriage.”

Both parents were in court when Cameron Douglas, 31, was sentenced in April to five years in prison.

Michael Douglas, 66, revealed in August that he was fighting throat cancer. The star of movies including “Romancing the Stone,” “Basic Instinct” and “Fatal Attraction” finished his treatments last month and is recuperating, publicist Allen Burry said.

“It’s a long haul,” Burry said Monday. “He continues to improve.”
