The Apprentice 10 is the tenth installment of the United States version of the reality television series, The Apprentice. On March 17, 2010 NBC officially announced the renewal of The Apprentice for the fall of 2010. For this season the show is going back to its regular version, with non-celebrities, for the first time since the 2006–07 television schedule. The theme of this season is "second chance" and contestants are those affected by the Late-2000s recession.

Taping began June 1, 2010, with it ending on June 29, 2010. The season premiered on Thursday, September 16th, 2010 at 9-11pm ET.

Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown is the third season of the Philippine version of the reality television series Survivor.

Richard Gutierrez took over hosting duties after the show’s previous host, Paolo Bediones, moved to TV5 a few months after the second season ended airing. Unlike the first two seasons, this installment would feature 18 celebrities from different fields of film, TV, sports and pop culture. Teasers of the castaways’ identities were partially revealed between July and August 2010 before they were revealed on August 14, 2010.

The show would be the second time that the Philippine franchise would take place in Thailand (after the first season). Also, the edition took place for only 36 days (although some printed teasers put the duration at 40) instead of the usual 39. This would also be the first one in which castaways would live in a single camp before eventually splitting into three tribes. The three tribes are named after Burmese mythical creatures: the sea creature Magan, the dragon Nagar, and the long-haired ox Sar Mayee (Sarmaree).

The show premiered on GMA Network on August 30, 2010. It is syndicated worldwide on GMA Pinoy TV except in North America, due to Castaway Television’s contract with CBS that prevents other countries’ versions of the series to be aired in that region.

Aside from the single initial tribe and "tribe leaders" concepts, this season also utilized the concept of Exile Island, known in this case as Isla Misteryo (lit. "Mystery Island"), where a chosen member of each tribe would stay until the following Immunity challenge. While immunity is indeed waiting at Isla Misteryo, obtaining it is a little different. Instead, castaways would search for gold coins to be used as currency to buy certain items at a store there. Those items include creature comforts, reminders of home, and immunity bracelets.

Robinsonekspedisjonen: 2010, is the tenth season of the Norwegian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson and it premiered on the 12th of September 2010. The main twist this season is that the teams are divided up by region of origin with the members of the north team coming from northern Norway and the members of the south team coming from southern Norway.

About Robinsonekspedisjonen

Robinsonekspedisjonen is a popular Norwegian reality television program debuting in 1999. In the of fall 1998 TV3 purchased the broadcast rights to air their own version of Expedition Robinson. Norway was one of the first countries to adopt the Robinson format following its success in both Sweden and Denmark. While it has never achieved as high of ratings as that of Denmark and Sweden’s versions of the show, it is still considered a ratings success.

The name alludes to both Robinson Crusoe and The Swiss Family Robinson, two stories featuring people marooned by shipwrecks.

Following a two year hiatus after the VIP season with Denmark and Sweden, Robinsonekspedisjonen returned in 2007 and has seen a season over season ratings growth since.

Survivor: Nicaragua will be the twenty-first season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor. It will premiere on September 15, 2010 at 8:00pm, moving to the Wednesday timeslot for the first time since Survivor: Borneo.

The location of Nicaragua was announced at the conclusion of the finale of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. It has been reported that the 22nd season will also take place in Nicaragua, and both seasons will be filmed near San Juan del Sur.

Survivor host Jeff Probst, has also announced that the Hidden Immunity Idol will continue to be used in the game. However, as idols have been found too easily the past two seasons (most often by Russell Hantz), or as the show’s producers have dubbed it, "The Russell Factor", the idol will be hidden differently. The clues to the idols’ locations will be visual rather than written as in past seasons. In addition, the tribes will be vying for control of a new item, the Medallion of Power, that, when used, gives an advantage in a challenge, but is then transferred to the other tribe.

Additionally, the 20 contestants will be divided up into two tribes based on their ages. The Espada tribe will feature contestants over the age of 40, and the La Flor tribe will include contestants aged 30 years and younger.

The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent, the winner of which receives a recording contract with the Syco Music record label. The seventh series began airing on ITV on 21 August 2010.

The show is presented by Dermot O’Leary, with spin-off show The Xtra Factor hosted by Konnie Huq on ITV2, who took over from Holly Willoughby. The competition is split into several stages: auditions, bootcamp, judges’ houses and live shows. Auditions took place throughout June and July 2010, with Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole returning as judges. Special guest judges were brought in to replace Dannii Minogue, who was on maternity leave. Cole missed the auditions in Manchester and bootcamp due to illness. Following bootcamp, successful acts were split into four categories: Boys (male soloists aged 16 to 27), Girls (female soloists aged 16 to 27), Over-28s (soloists aged 28 and over) and Groups. Minogue is due to return for the judges’ houses stage, and each judge will mentor eight acts through judges’ houses. This is the first series of the show to be filmed in high definition, and is simulcast on ITV1 HD and STV HD.

The X Factor is an Australian television reality music competition, based on the original series in the UK, to find new singing talent. The second season is set to premiere on August 30, 2010. The first series was cancelled five years ago due to poor ratings, but the show was revived after Seven Network acquired the rights through meetings with creator Simon Cowell.

The show will be broadcast on the Seven Network, as opposed to Network Ten which aired the prior series. Seven will also air spin-off show The Xtra Factor on 7Two. The second season was originally to be hosted by actor Matthew Newton replacing first season host Daniel MacPherson. However, Newton was forced to quit the series during production for personal reasons. Luke Jacobz was announced as Newton’s replacement. It is not clear how the producers intend on dealing with footage of original host,Matthew Newton.On August 28th,2010it was announced that Nova Radio Presenter,Natalie Garonzi would host The Xtra Factor,a backastage program that would air immediately after the live performance show concludes on Seven’s Digital Subchannel,7TWO. Auditions took place throughout May and June, 2010 with Kyle Sandilands, Natalie Imbruglia, Guy Sebastian and Ronan Keating joining the show as the brand new judging panel.

X Factor is the German version of The X Factor, a show originating from the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions.
