Guy Theodore Sebastian is an Australian singer-songwriter, and winner of the first Australian Idol television talent quest in 2003. He has released four top 4 albums including a No.1 and No.2, which all achieved either platinum or multi platinum accreditation. His fifth album Like It Like That was released in October 2009, debuted at No. 6, and achieved gold accreditation in its 3rd week. He has also released six top 10 singles which includes four No. 1’s, and three other top 15 singles. He has 10 platinum and 1 gold accreditation for albums, and 9 platinum and 2 gold accreditations for singles, the highest album and single accreditations of any Australian Idol contestant according to official ARIA records.

He has sold over 1.5 million cds in Australia alone, including more than 800,000 albums. His awards include Channel V’s Artist Of The Year in 2004, and Urban Music Awards for Best Male Artist in 2006 and Best R&B Album for his third album Closer To The Sun in 2007.

Fisher was born in Muscat, Oman to Scottish parents from Bathgate and Stranraer. They resided in Muscat because of her father’s job as a banker for the United Nations. Her name, after the Scottish island of Islay, is pronounced eye-la; she has four brothers. Fisher spent her infancy in Bathgate before moving with her family to Perth, Western Australia, when she was nine months old. Fisher has said that she had a “great” upbringing in Perth with a “very outdoorsy life”. She began appearing in commercials on Australian television at the age of nine, before going on to win roles in popular children’s television shows Bay City and Paradise Beach. She attended Methodist Ladies’ College and appeared in lead roles in school productions.

sophie monk 07 Sophie Charlene Akland Monk (born 14 December 1979) is an Australian pop singer, actress and occasional model. She was once a member of female pop group Bardot and has since established a solo career with the release of an album, Calendar Girl. More recently, she turned her hand to acting, appearing in films such as Date Movie and Click. She dated Ryan Seacrest in early 2008.

Monk’s professional music career began in 1999 when she responded to an advertisement at the recommendation of her mother which requested girls with vocal and dance experience. The advertisement was for the Australian television series, Popstars, a TV talent show which aimed to create a successful new girl group. Monk, who has been trained in classical and pop singing and has been performing since she was eight years old, drove all night to audition. In one audition, she performed a rendition of Marilyn Monroe’s famous “Happy Birthday, Mr. President”, working on her previous experience as a Monroe impersonator at Warner Bros. Movie World. After numerous rounds of singing and dancing workshops, Monk was selected as a member of the group, which was named Bardot.
